It’s been almost two years. Almost two years and we’re learning to deal with the invisible wounds. The moments when the memories and tears are overflowing and the flashbacks seize us is when something shatters. A mug, a vase, a piece of our souls, breaking and cracking at the seams over and over. We find it in each other to patch ourselves up and pick up the broken pieces. But sometimes people just can’t fix what’s broken - tear out and replace our heavy, crude hearts and restore our innocence so we can erase the red on our hands and the scars on our bodies. But we tell each other that we can make room for every little bit of good left in this world. There’s always a place to go when I’m too tired. I’ve found it in him. I call it home.
what is this game ??
It’s amazing that my idols play the game I used to play at recess!
Happy birthday Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire, the mockingjay, the face of rebellion.
She’s a sister, a tribute, a District 12 citizen, a lover, a huntress, a fighter, the braid girl, and a lot of other things. Without trying, she stole our and all of Panem’s citizens hearts, she showed everyone what’s to be strong and how to fight for who you love.
Happy birthday, sweetheart!
Because every Hunger Games fan needs this on their blog.
Jen is such amazing in this scene… The way she trembles…
